Honey Lemon Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients

2lb brussel sprouts
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp honey
juice from 1 lemon
1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.

  2. Wash and trim off the bottoms of the brussel sprouts. Remove the outer leaves. Cut them in half and place them in a bowl.

  3. Toss them in olive oil, salt, and pepper. Put them on a sheet tray lined with parchment paper, cut side down, and roast for 15-20 min.

  4. While the brussels are roasting, mix together the honey and lemon juice.

  5. Take the brussels out of the oven and pour over the honey mixture. Give them a toss so every sprout is covered in the glaze. Return them to oven for an extra 5-10 min until they just begin to brown.

  6. Eat!
